In 1999, I predicted a Rapture for Sept. 10-11th, the Feast of Trumpets. Below is a cut and paste from my index page on Sept. 13, 1999 left in full, with nothing altered. All the links are also working. Here is my formal apology:

For all those who are reading this for the first time, I was one of the loudest voices on the newsgroups speaking about a "Rapture on Feast of Trumpets" this for Sept. 1999.

I'm sorry. I was wrong. I was a prideful idiot. I deceived myself. I have spoken presumptuously and deserve death under the Law according to Deuteronomy... And I deceived others who believed me. I lusted after the promise of the Kingdom, and through my pride and arrogance, I thought I could divine the time, and/or that I was worthy enough to be given divine revelation. Obviously, I was preaching out of my vain imagination, because I came to the wrong conclusions. Nothing happened! I was wrong! I'm sorry!

Here is the summary of my testimony regarding the Bible Prophesy Verses that indicate Sept. 11th, 1999, Tishri 1 5760, the Jewish New Year, that concludes 6000 years of human history.

I was studying the Sept. 11th 1999 date as a possible rapture date.  This is Tishri 1, 5760. There was a quite a bit of evidence lining up around this date, and the one that amazed me was that there is 5760 grains in a troy pound of gold.  But because past dates have come and gone, I was sitting there, wanting further confirmation. Just then, the thought occured to me to look at the dimensions of a cube. Now, I know that's completely irrelavant, and not related. So, without much thought, I do a bit of figuring...

A cube has 6 sides, 8 corners, 12 lines--I actually had to visualize a cube, and count each of those out because I wasn't familiar with the actual numbers, and then I multiply them together--using a calculator because my brain is so feeble.  Here's the "rainman" clincher: It comes to 576

I can only say that some higher power led me to this, because the associative thought processes that lead one to accomplish rational thinking and figuring were completely absent from this process.

Then, I remembered New Jerusalem, which is adorned as a bride, which is the symbol of our rapture hope, and literally is our home and where our mansions are located, and I found many many 576 numbers, and I began my study...

144 cubit thick walls x 4 walls = 576. 144,000,000 square furlongs x 4 walls = 576 It is made from gold = 5760 grains in 12 ounces It IS the cube = 576. 24 elders on 24 thrones; 24 x 24 = 576

And, if you were to ask the question, when is man's time on the earth finished, or to paraphrase, and say, when is the time of testing of man complete complete? And use the numbers that are associated with those concepts, testing 40, complete 12.  40 x 12 x 12 = 5760

But, if you think these are the only 5760 indicators, this is just the tip of the iceberg... The scriptural support is overwhelming and incontrovertable, and, in my mind, constitutes irrefutable proof of a Rapture on the Feast of Trumpets, 5760.

[Hos 6:2] After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

The letters in the term "third day", when added together, using Hebrew gematria, = 5760.  And of the 46 scripturescontaining the words "third day", many contain rapture language and parallels.

Then, there are the 25 verses containing "six days" (of man), which are also ending at the same time, 6000 years. Hebrew gemetria of six days also = 5760.  Examples of "rapture language": [Mark 9:2.3] And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them. [Exod 24:16.16] And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh
day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. [Christ comes in the clouds, and calls out to us in the Rapture, and we become transfigured, given new spirit bodies.]

And if you look at the three verses that contain the words "new year", there are only 3 passages, with CLEAR rapture references.

And our own new year celebration in North America  is complete with rapture imagry; 1.  People stay "awake" for the celebration. 2.  "End of the world" type countdown 3.  Loud "trumpet"-like noisemakers & people "shout". 4.  Finding that special someone to kiss, as in the "marriage". 5.  The heart of the celebration comes in the "twinkling of an eye" at "the midnight cry".

And the Feast of Trumpets, which kicks off the new year of going from 5759 to 5760, this year on Tishri 1, fulfills all of the following verses in the Bible:

No man knows the day or hour scriptures. The thief in the night scriptures. All the bride of christ references. The "last trump" verse. All the "open door" references. The tribulation ten days verse. The confirmation of two witnesses verses. And more... such as: Neh 8.

And, the eclipse we had on August 11, 1999, which was seen by more people in the world than all other eclipses in history, is 30 days before this date, which begins the countdown of 30 days of repentance before this Feast of Trumpets festival.

The Song of Moses sung by the overcomers in Rev 15:3 begins in Det.32:1, the 5760th verse of the Bible. This song is sung after the overcoming is completed and is sung within the kingdom. (153 being the number of fish caught at the end of John)

This year, a month from now, on 5760, it will be the last time Revelation 12 is literally played out in the heavens as a picture with the star constelations, the moon and the sun.  This picture has appeared on Tishri 1 for the past 4 years, but this will be the last time.

Read 21 verses that land on Chapter 5, verse 7, which is the first part of 5760, and you will find rapture language in most of the verses.  I'm sure there are more that I had not looked at.

(1-1-5760) The verses that land on Chapter 11, verses 5,6,7 in Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, & Acts all seem to indicate the rapture, and the first time the New Testament talks of the Rapture, in 1 Thess. 4:15,16,17, the numbers 5,6,7 are prominent, as well as a couple of 1's, AND a 4.  The letter 4, in Hebrew, also means "door", and Jesus said he is the door, the way to life, and also was born at the start of the 4th Millinium, and "door" is a strong symbol of the rapture, where we go in through the open door that no man can shut.

Explaining 567 meaning 576.  Five times Jesus said, "last shall be first, first shall be last".

And if you look at the 9 verses that contain the words "five seven six", you will find more rapture language.

There are also visions/dreams/angel encounters and strong evidence of bible codes found in Exodus 19 & 20 that testify to this date.  Exodus means "leaving", as in rapture, and the account is a parallel of the rapture.

Finally, the verses that say we "can't know" [there are none] are the "no man knows the day or hour" verses, which are an idiom for the start of the new month, which the Feast of Trumpets falls on.  And, contained in these "no man knows" verses are the double exortations to both WATCH, and BE READY.

And here are 10 verses that talk about how we WILL KNOW...

[1Thess 5:4] But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. [1Thess 5:5] Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. [1Thess 5:6] Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

[Dan 12:9] And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. [Dan 12:10] Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

[1Pet 1:5] Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

[1Pet 1:7] That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

[Mark 13:23] But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

[Luke 8:17] For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.

[Mark 4:22] For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.

[1John 2:20] But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

[1John 2:27] But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

[Amos 3:7.17] Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Personally, this is how I feel about this upcoming date...  ALL of the New Testament ideas, imagry and symbols concerning the rapture are contained and explained and harmonized by this upcoming date.  Each and every one.  There are at least 15 key, main symbols in the rapture, including;

1.  going through the open door
2.  no man knows the day and hour of Christ's return
3.  Christ comes as the thief in the night
4.  The Rapture is the Wedding of the Bride, the Church, to Christ
5.  Standing before the judgement seat
6.  Going into our "many mansions" or New Jerusalem
7.  The measurements of New Jerusalem, and the directive to measure it with a reed of gold.
8.  Rising up in the clouds
9.  At the twinkling of an eye at the Last Trump at the Great Shout
10.  Resurrection of the saints just prior.
11.  Revealing of the AntiChrist just after.
12.  Revelation 12 imagry in the stars & sky on the Feast of Trumpets.
13.  Eclipse starting off the 30 days repentance on Aug. 11th, fulfilling sun/moon prophesies.
14.  Rising up on the third day.
15.  At the end of the six days.
16.  The "new year" symbolism and scriptural parallels.
17.  The gathering together of the saints.

And more... when you consider the Bible Codes!, Isreal's Jubilee year!, the Great Pyramid!, much other Scriptural numbering sequence supporting evidence.

So, now, since I have gathered together ALL the main imagry of the rapture, and over 150 scriptures showing the supporting evidence of this date, the odds that they would all point to the same date is next to impossible.

Today, science maintains that cracking a 128 bit encryption is impossible.  Yet, here is a correlation and harmony and explanation and fulfillment of well over 128 verses if the Rapture were to occur on Sept. 11th, 1999, Tishrei1, 5760.  The odds of this harmony occurring at random are, if it were 128 bit encryption, less than one in 72 quadrillion times 72 quadrillion, or less than one in 10 to the 34h power.  However, since there are MORE than 128 scriptures that agree and support this upcoming date, and the complexity of each item is MORE complex than a simple on/off binary switch, the odds rise beyond astronomical numbers.

For example, let's say that each "rapture" type verse could point to any of 10 possible dates (they don't, but let's assume for argument's sake) Then, for each verse you add in that supports a "date prediction" would increase the complexity by a factor of ten.  So, if there are 150 scriptures pointing to a specific date, that would be 10 to the 150th power.  This is astronomical!  For example, there are only 10 to the 76th power number of atoms in the entire known universe, and the odds that this many scriptures would line up in harmony seems greater than picking the one right atom out of all the atoms in the universe.  How much greater?  Take all the atoms in the universe, and multiply that by all the atoms in the universe.  In other words, look at each atom as a separate universe of 10 to the 76th atoms, and try to pick the right one out of all of that!  Impossible to the infinity extreme!

In fact, there is not a single Rapture type image that exists in the Bible that I'm aware of that would NOT be fulfilled if the Rapture were to happen on Sept. 11th, 1999.  In other words, it all would be fulfilled, and this date is not random.  Thus, I conclude that the Creator of the Universe put these indicators all together for us to show us when.
