1. The mark goes "in/on" the right hand (not left) or forehead.
2. The mark is used to buy and sell.
3. The people who take the mark are deceived.
4. the beast "caused" people to take it. Probably first through deception, and finally, through force. The intermediate force is through economic sanction, and finally by threat of decapitation/beheadings -- They are not gassed, shot, hung, electrocuted, or poisoned. They are Beheaded.
5. The people who take the mark eventually all get a grevious boil or sore on them.
6. Accepting the Mark is equated to putting your trust in mankind's system of things rather than God's, and the Word of God equates it with worship of that system.  In Old Testament times, bending at the waist in front of an image was an "act" of worship.  This "taking the image/mark" inside your body is equally an "act of worship", even if there is no "bending at the waist in font of an idol" taking place at the same time.

1. The microchip implant (see links below) is evidence of how close we are to the fulfillment of this Bible Prophesy!
2. There is a world government "new world order" movement happening and being supported by the media, movies, Nafta, Euro-union, Asian-union, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, The United Nations, etc...
3. This movement is based on evolutionary-humanism, embracing all religions, promotion of everyone having only "their fair share," liberalism/communism, government handouts, promotion of the idea that we must not tolerate intolerance, animal and people rights above property rights, etc.
4. We may be mere months away from the beginnings of fulfillment of Bible Prophesy on this topic of the Mark of the Beast!
5. Major Banks cannot wait to implement the cashless society, because they will save billions on transaction costs of counting cash, handling checks, etc. Estimates to the time of full deployment for the cashless society range from 1999 to 2005!
6. Interestingly, a biochip implant and/or tatoo would be both a piercing and a mark.

Overview of events in the Bible Prophesy timeline as I understand it...

1. The Rapture --Jesus Christ's removal of the saintly Church.  --Allows for:
2. The rise of the AntiChrist who starts the 7 year tribulation when he signs the covenant in front of many for seven.  Dan 9:27
3. The rise of the False Prophet

--who aids the AntiChrist in his rise to world power and seduces/deceives the world with miracles and wonders.
4. The rise of God's two witnesses

--who preach the Gospel with supernatural powers for 3.5 years and cannot be killed, and who control the weather (stop rain), and who cannot be killed by any means, yet are killed by the AntiChrist at the end of 3.5 years, in the middle of the 7 years of the Peace Treaty with Isreal. [Revelation 11:3-7]
5. The death of God's two witnesses

--and the world throws a 3-day party while their bodies lie in the streets. The party stops when their bodies are brought back to life and rise up into heaven in the sight of all of mankind. [Revelation 11:8-13]
6. Angels preach throughout the earth to all of mankind to not take the mark. [Revelation 14:6-9]

More Scriptures to ponder:

Deuteronomy 11:18: "Therefore shall you lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes [your forehead]."

Deuteronomy 6:8: "And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes [forehead]."

Exodus 13:16: "And it shall be for a token [Hebrew: oth, meaning "sign"] upon your hand, and for frontlets between your eyes [forehead]: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt."

All seem to say that obedience to God's commands is what his mark represents.

Now, the way I see it, the taking of the biochip "merely for convenience sake" would violate a good portion of God's ten commandments.

1. It breaks the first, "worship only God", and have no God's above God.
2. It breaks the third, "making any images" or the worship of them.
3. It breaks the fifth, "honor your parents", as it is a violation of your natural body, as are tatoos and piercings.
4. It breaks the sixth, "thou shalt not kill", as people are routinely killed in the support of this world money system, and people will be killed/beheaded when they refuse to take the mark.
5. It breaks the eighth, "thou shalt not steal", as that's what inflation and personal taxation and unjust weights and measures do, and taking the mark would be supporting all of those.
6. It breaks the ninth, "thou shalt not bear false witness", as people who use cash and do not accept the mark will be accused of wanting cash for illegal purchases and uses.
7. It breaks the tenth, "thou shalt not covet", as the taking of the mark will be promoted as a way to avoid having your neighbors covet your cash--you won't have any cash or credit to steal.

Finally, [Prov 22:3] A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
