Here's a bit of what the Bible says about owning and using arms, swords, & weapons:

[Rev 13:10] He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.


[Rev 12:17] And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Note the use of the word "war" here. It doesn't say that Satan gets to wantonly slaughter God's people, or that God's people should lie down and submit to Satan here without a fight... It says WAR! I take that to mean each side will use arms and weapons...?
