In 1999, I predicted a Rapture for Sept. 10-11th, the Feast of Trumpets. Below is a cut and paste from my index page on Sept. 13, 1999 left in full, with nothing altered. All the links are also working. Here is my formal apology:

For all those who are reading this for the first time, I was one of the loudest voices on the newsgroups speaking about a "Rapture on Feast of Trumpets" this for Sept. 1999.

I'm sorry. I was wrong. I was a prideful idiot. I deceived myself. I have spoken presumptuously and deserve death under the Law according to Deuteronomy... And I deceived others who believed me. I lusted after the promise of the Kingdom, and through my pride and arrogance, I thought I could divine the time, and/or that I was worthy enough to be given divine revelation. Obviously, I was preaching out of my vain imagination, because I came to the wrong conclusions. Nothing happened! I was wrong! I'm sorry!

Do you want to know what happened? My thoughts on how I went so wrong?

The Third Day
Preface

Note: 6-23-99 After learning of the seven Jewish Festivals, and the two Jubilee’s we are in this year, it has come to my attention that Rosh HaShanah (the Jewish New Year), September 10-11, 1999, is the "Third Day, and not 2000. Just as the days of creation are 7 so are the 7 millenniums. We are about to enter into the 7th day - God's rest, God rested on the 7th day (Genesis 2:3). As a believer Jesus will welcome you with His unbelievable love into the 7th day, God's rest. As an unbeliever you will enter into God's judgment known in the Bible as the tribulation.

The following Old Testament scriptures came to me by the Holy Spirit revealing Jesus to me in them: John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me; also in Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. These verses relate to the end time prophecy of the rapture, tribulation, and second advent, which appear in chronological order from Genesis to Ezekiel. These scriptures are paralleled by New Testament scriptures as well as some Old Testament scriptures. Proverbs 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

Luke 9:22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.

Luke 13:32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

Regarding the Good Samaritan, who is a type of Jesus, He taught:

Luke 17:35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

Note: Two pence was equal to two day’s wages in the time of Jesus.

Luke 18:33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.

Luke 18:34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

But, these things are not to be hidden from the believers any longer:

Isaiah 21:6 For thus hath the LORD said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth.

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day (approx. 3-999 a.d. day 1) (1000-1999 a.d. day 2) (2000 a.d. -- day 3).

Explanatory Notes

Note: Bolding is used for bringing out the parable, but in no way do I mean to minimize the holy scriptures to the content of the bolded word(s) only contained in that verse. Each word is necessary and important. Horne writes:

6. As every parable has two senses, the literal or external,

and the mystical or internal sense, the literal sense must

be first explained, in order that the correspondence between

it and the mystical sense may be the more readily perceived.

7. It is not necessary, in the interpretation of parables, that we

should anxiously insist upon every single word . . . (Horne,

Pentecost 57).

THE THIRD DAY

Gen 22:3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.

Note: Rapture, Son, Isaac carried the wood/Jesus carried the cross, offering, Jesus’ ascension/rapture

Gen 22:4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.

Note: year 2000, rapture

THREE DAYS JOURNEY

Exod 5:3 Then they said, "The God of the Hebrews has met with us; let us go, we pray, a three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD our God, lest he fall upon us with pestilence or with the sword."

Num 10:33 And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days' journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days' journey, to search out a resting place for them.

Luke 13:32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

Luke 13:33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.

JESUS CARRIED HIS CROSS AS ISAAC CARRIED THE WOOD:

John 19:17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:

JESUS OUR PERFECT OFFERING - ONCE AND FOR ALL:

Heb 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Heb 10:11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

Heb 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Heb 10:13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

Heb 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

WE SHALL BE RAISED [RAPTURED] EXACTLY THE SAME HOUR JESUS WAS RAISED:

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

On his commentary on verse 11 Clarke writes:

He who here receives the grace and Spirit of Christ, and continues to

live under its influence a life of obedience to the Divine will, shall have

a resurrection to eternal life; and the resurrection of Christ shall be the

pattern after which they shall be raised (Clarke vol. VI).

Hosea 6:2 After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, that we may live before him.

1Cor 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.

The following are five verses in the first gospel according to Matthew 28: 1, 2, 6, 7, and 8 showing bolded words telling the story of the rapture:

Mat 28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

Mat 28:2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the *stone from the **door, and sat upon it.

Mat 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Mat 28:7 And go ***quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and , behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

Mat 28:8 And they departed **quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

The following are three verses from the remaining three gospels according to Mark, Luke, and John.

Mark 16:2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

Luke 24:1 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

John 20:1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the *stone taken away from the sepulchre.

*stone [Jesus], Dan 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

Dan 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

Luke 20:17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?

Luke 20:18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

**door [Jesus], Gen. 6:16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.

John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

John 10:2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

John 10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture

Rev. 3:8 I know thy works: behold I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: . . . . also, Rev. 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, . . . . Rev. 4:1 After this I looked and behold a door was opened in heaven: . . . Come up hither, . . . .

***quickly, Rev. 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Rev. 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH

1 Thess. 4:16 For he himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1 Thess 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1Thess 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1 John 3:2 Beloved now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

THE RAPTURE AS TOLD IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION

Rev 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia [church] write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth [rapture];

Rev 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it [rapture]: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

Rev 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them [unbelievers] to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee [church].

Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee [church] from the hour of temptation [tribulation], which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth [unbelievers].

Rev 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Rev 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven [rapture]: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me [Gabriel]; which said, Come up hither [rapture], and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

With regard to the phrase "dwell upon the earth," as previously mentioned in Rev. 3:10, Pentecost writes:

This same expression occurs in Revelation 6:10; 11:10;

13:8, 12, 14; 14:6, and 17:8. In its usage it is not giving us

a geographical description but rather a moral classification.

Since this period is related to "earth dwellers," those that

have settled down to permanent occupancy, it can have

no reference to the church, which would be subjected to

the same experiences if it were here (Pentecost 197).

These verses Pentecost mentions regarding the one's to dwell upon the earth refer to the martyr's in heaven crying out to God to avenge our blood, verse 6:10, rejoicing over the dead bodies of Moses and Elijah, and giving gifts to each other, verse 11:10; worshiping the antichrist, and whose names are not written in the book of life, verse 13:8; worshiping the beast whose wound was healed, verse 13:12; deceived by the false prophet, verse 13:14; angel preaching to them (unbelievers), verse 14:6; whose names were not written in the book of life, verse 17:8.

EARTH'S VIEW OF THE RAPTURE AS TOLD IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION - EARTH'S VIEW

Rev 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun [Israel], and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars [twelve tribes of Israel]:

Rev 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered [Israel].

Rev 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon [Satan], having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads [Revived Roman Empire].

Rev 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman[Israel] which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child[church] as soon as it was born.

Rev 12:5 And she brought forth [rapture] a man child [church], who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up [rapture] unto God, and to his throne [heaven].

Mat 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Mat 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Note: Wood, hay, and stubble burned

Leviticus 7:18 And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.

Leviticus 7:19 And the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall eat thereof.

Note: The flesh will be made clean in heaven after the rapture.

1 Cor 4:14 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so by fire.

See also, Zech. 13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

Zech 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD [2nd Advent] cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

Note: Notice the "through the fire" and "will refine them" is BEFORE the Day of the Lord [2nd Advent] in Zech 14:1.

VASHTI (ISRAEL) LOSES HER ROYAL ESTATE TO ESTHER (the CHURCH)

Esther 1:10 On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and Carcas, the seven chamberlains that served in the presence of Ahasuerus the king,

Esther 1:11 To bring Vashti the queen before the king with the crown royal, to shew the people and the princes her beauty: for she was fair to look on.

Esther 1:12 But the queen Vashti refused to come at the king's commandment by his chamberlains: therefore was the king very wroth, and his anger burned in him.

Esther 1:19 If it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.

Esth 2:4 And let the maiden which pleaseth the king be queen instead of Vashti. And the thing pleased the king; and he did so.

Esther 2:17 And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.

Esther 5:1 Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king’s house, over against the king’s house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house.

Note: Year 2000, Esther/Church was beautiful, she was adopted, she was a Queen (royalty), and a Bride (virgin); the Church put’s on her resurrection body and stand’s in the inner court of heaven.

Esther 5:2 And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.

Note: a sceptre of righteousness

Gen 41:14 Then Pharoah sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharoah.

1Pet 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.

Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Note: No other book in the Bible mentions the word "royal" as many times as the book of Esther. The word "royal" is mentioned 29 times throughout the whole Bible. Esther having only 10 chapters, mentions it 13 times.

Rev. 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

Rev. 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent [The first time Satan made an appearance to man he came as a serpent, that's why he is entitled "old" serpent here], which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.

Rev. 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Ezek 5:2 Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the seige are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.

Father, I repent of my sin of the rejection of your Son, Jesus as Lord. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, I believe that He died for my sins according to the Scriptures. I believe that He was buried and that He rose again on the third day to make me right with God. I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior. Thank you Lord for my salvation in Jesus' name. Amen.
