In 1999, I predicted a Rapture for Sept. 10-11th, the Feast of Trumpets. Below is a cut and paste from my index page on Sept. 13, 1999 left in full, with nothing altered. All the links are also working. Here is my formal apology:

For all those who are reading this for the first time, I was one of the loudest voices on the newsgroups speaking about a "Rapture on Feast of Trumpets" this for Sept. 1999.

I'm sorry. I was wrong. I was a prideful idiot. I deceived myself. I have spoken presumptuously and deserve death under the Law according to Deuteronomy... And I deceived others who believed me. I lusted after the promise of the Kingdom, and through my pride and arrogance, I thought I could divine the time, and/or that I was worthy enough to be given divine revelation. Obviously, I was preaching out of my vain imagination, because I came to the wrong conclusions. Nothing happened! I was wrong! I'm sorry!

Do you want to know what happened? My thoughts on how I went so wrong?

Bible Chapters 5, verse 7 point to Rapture in 5760!

Every verse in the Bible has a specific number.  In the Bible, numbers are very important, and are very heavy with symbolic meaning.  As I began to re read the book of Daniel, I became more acutely aware of the significance of the numbering of the verses, being connected to the content of the verse.  Let me demonstrate what I saw, by walking through the first 18 verses...

[Dan 1:1] In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it.

The first day, 1000 years, Adam defiled God's garden, like besieging God's city Jerusalem One one, is 11, like Sept. 11 for 5760.  Connected to the "third day".  Related to going to New Jerusalem, where we will reign as Kings with Christ.  Also one, one, is like "one god" and then, the first number in the verse, being 3, which is trinity.

[Dan 1:2] And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.

The second day, in the middle of the 2000 years, Noah's ark, the vessel, carried people into the land.  And God gave people up for destruction as in this verse... 2, like 200 golden Shields (vessels) in King Solomon's temple.  Also, the year 2000 being the year when the world is handed over to Satan.  12 is also a symbol for the House of God, written on New Jerusalem as 12000 furlongs.

[Dan 1:3] And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes;

The thrid day, 3000 years, was the Era of Kings of Isreal, and Princes. The 13th chapter of Revelation, which talks about the mark of the beast, being ordered into economic slavery, as are the children of Isreal in this verse in Daniel.  3 is also trinity, and here the "king" is speaking.

[Dan 1:4] Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, andunderstanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.

On the 4000th year, Christ, the lamb in whom was no blemish, was born as a childChrist had all the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, had the ability to stand in the presence of the King, God, and who taught the world.

[Dan 1:5] And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.

After Christ, we get "three days" to be nourished on his body and blood, which is wine and bread, if you include the last 1000 years, the millinium.  So far, we've gotten 2 days of Christ's grace.  At the end of the 1000 years reign of Christ, we all stand before God at Judgement.

[Dan 1:6] Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:

6000 years, last day of normal life for man.

[Dan 1:7] Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego.

On the seventh day, 7000th year, people receive new names, given by God.  [Rev 3:12] Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

[Dan 1:8] But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

8 is Christ's number, symbolized by 888.  Christ is not defiled, but completely pure, the pure sacrifice.

[Dan 1:9] Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.

If we are "brought into favor and tender love" in the rapture in 1999?  I hope so!

[Dan 1:10] And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endangermy head to the king.

10 is like the "tribulation ten days" of  [Rev 2:10] "Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."  ---During the Great Tribulation, people are beheaded!

[Dan 1:11] Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,

111 Trinity of one's.  God has authority over the whole world.

[Dan 1:12] Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.

12 symbolizes completion, perfection.  After the end of ten days (great tribulation) everything will be much more perfect in God's 1000 year kingdom.

[Dan 1:13] Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.

In Rev 13, the mark of the beast, it's all about the image.  This verse says, judge us by our image, our appearance.  Further, avoiding the mark will mean there will be no easy way to buy food.

[Dan 1:14] So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.

144 is 12 x 12 or full completion.  40 means a time of testing.

[Dan 1:15] And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.

This is like Dan 1:5, where there is plenty of food to eat.

[Dan 1:16] Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.

the mark of the beast, 666, causes people to starve in Rev if they don't comply.

[Dan 1:17] As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

7 is God's number... full of knowledge, learning, wisdom, understanding.  all Godly qualities.

[Dan 1:18] Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs broughtthem in before Nebuchadnezzar..

At the end of the 7th day, we are 'brought in before the KING, God for judgement.  8 is Christ's number, who is King.

So, as I was reading Daniel, again, I became aware of all the symbolic importance of the numbering of the verses.  EACH ONE is significant!   And so, I began to realize, how would 576 be found in Bible verses?  Chaper 5, verse 7!

About interpreting 576... As we have seen, Bible calculations sometimes lop off the numbers, and they are still significant.

All these Bible verses of Chapter 5, Verse 7, all have allusions that point to a Rapture in the year 5760!

[Rev 5:6] And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders, I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth;

[Rev 5:7] and he went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who was seated on the throne.

Literally, the first 6 words of that verse are: "And He Came And He Took"!!! Rev 5:7,6 = Rapture!

This is Jesus, taking the hidden scroll from God, who reveals it's contents in Revelation!  Who unravels the mystery of New Jerusalem (5760), and uncovers all the hidden secrets and mysteries of God! Speaking of hidden secrets and mysteries of 576...

[Dan 5:7] The king cried aloud to bring in the enchanters, the Chaldeans, and the astrologers. The king said to the wise men of Babylon, "Whoever reads this writing, and shows me its interpretation, shall be clothed with purple, and have a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom."

This time, uncovering the secret leads, specifically to God's promise to his people that they will be given new clothes, crowns, and reign as kings, which we do in the rapture!

[Ezek 5:7] Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Because you [Jerusalem] are more turbulent than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes or kept my ordinances, but have acted according to the ordinances of the nations that are round about you;

This is God, speaking a judgement to Jerusalem!  Like a prophesy about New Jerusalem!

[Isa 5:7] For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah are his pleasant planting; and he looked for justice, but behold, bloodshed; for righteousness, but behold, a cry!

Once again, rapture language, House of the Lord, the Cry or Shout of the rapture, prior to the cry looking for justice and finding none in the world like today!

[Mat 5:7] "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

Again, the rapture is obtaining mercy and salvation away from tribulation!

[Mark 5:7] and crying out with a loud voice, he said, "What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, do not torment me."

Again, another "rapture shout".  Although this is the demon posessed man, it is like what we cry to god, when we hope to escape the tribulation!

[Luke 5:7] they beckoned to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.

Jesus, calls out to us in the rapture, and He comes down to us as he makes his Shout!

[John 5:6] When Jesus saw him and knew that he had been lying there a long time, he said to him, "Do you want to be healed?" [John 5:7] The sick man answered him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is troubled, and while I am going another steps down before me." [John 5:8] Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your pallet, and walk."

Here, right after verse 5:7, It says RISE!

[Acts 5:7] After an interval of about three hours his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.

Three hours are like the Third Day of our lord.  WIFE coming in!  --like the Bride of Chrsit

[Rom 5:7] Why, one will hardly die for a righteous man--though perhaps for a good man one will dare even to die.

[Zech 5:7] And behold, the leaden cover was lifted, and there was a woman sitting in the ephah!

It's seems as if there are rapture allusions in every 5:7 verse I look up!

[Gen 5:7] Seth lived after the birth of Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and had other sons and daughters.

Well, I don't see any rapture language here... other than "lived"?  Sorry.  Either my vision is bad, or there just isn't any rapture allusion here.  Seth is Adam's first son...   'other sons and daughters' might be like us?  I don't know... just can't see it here.

[Exod 5:7] "You shall no longer give the people straw to make bricks, as heretofore; let them go and gather straw for themselves.

Let them go?  Gather straw? --which is a grass, like wheat, which is what we are, as opposed to tares?

[Lev 5:7] "But if he cannot afford a lamb, then he shall bring, as his guilt offering to the LORD for the sin which he has committed, two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering.

[Num 5:7] he shall confess his sin which he has committed; and he shall make full restitution for his wrong, adding a fifth to it, and giving it to him to whom he did the wrong.

[Deut 5:6] "`I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. [Deut 5:7] "`You shall have no other gods before me.

[Josh 5:7] So it was their children, whom he raised up in their stead, that Joshua circumcised; for they were uncircumcised, because they had not been circumcised on the way.

[Judg 5:7] The peasantry ceased in Israel, they ceased until you arose, Deborah, arose as a mother in Israel.

[Pss 5:7] But I through the abundance of thy steadfast love will enter thy house, I will worship toward thy holy temple in the fear of thee.

[Prov 5:7] And now, O sons, listen to me, and do not depart from the words of my mouth.

[Heb 5:7] In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard for his godly fear.
