For all those who are reading this for the first time, I was one of the loudest voices on the newsgroups speaking about a "Rapture on Feast of Trumpets" this for Sept. 1999.

I'm sorry. I was wrong. I was a prideful idiot. I deceived myself. I have spoken presumptuously and deserve death under the Law according to Deuteronomy... And I deceived others who believed me. I lusted after the promise of the Kingdom, and through my pride and arrogance, I thought I could divine the time, and/or that I was worthy enough to be given divine revelation. Obviously, I was preaching out of my vain imagination, because I came to the wrong conclusions. Nothing happened! I was wrong! I'm sorry!

Dan, one of the 12 tribes of Isreal, is conspicuiously absent (As in Raptured?) from the 12 tribes listed in Revelation, the 144,000.  (The tribe of Dan is not mentioned anywhere in the New Testament.)

(667 occurances of dan in my KJV online bible search program, including words like "danger" and "jordan".)

                      [Rev 7:4] And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an
                      hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

                      [Rev 7:5] Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were
                      sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.

                      [Rev 7:6] Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were
                      sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.

The tribe of Dan, historically, I believe, has recently been shown to be England.  England's "standards" of measurement are in lone contrast to the rest of the world, which has gone to the un-Godly metric.  Among England's standards is the measurement of gold as 5760 grains in 12 ounces, or one troy pound.

First mention of a prophesy about Dan:

[Gen 49:16] Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.
[Gen 49:17] Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.

[Mat 10:16] Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

[John 3:14] And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

[Mat 25:1] Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. [Mat 25:2] And five of them were wise...

The hardest part about wisdom for me is learning that I cannot make the wicked understand, no matter how well I reason.  It just doesn't work that way...

[Dan 12:10.25] Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
