In 1999, I predicted a Rapture for Sept. 10-11th, the Feast of Trumpets. Below is a cut and paste from my index page on Sept. 13, 1999 left in full, with nothing altered. All the links are also working. Here is my formal apology:

For all those who are reading this for the first time, I was one of the loudest voices on the newsgroups speaking about a "Rapture on Feast of Trumpets" this for Sept. 1999.

I'm sorry. I was wrong. I was a prideful idiot. I deceived myself. I have spoken presumptuously and deserve death under the Law according to Deuteronomy... And I deceived others who believed me. I lusted after the promise of the Kingdom, and through my pride and arrogance, I thought I could divine the time, and/or that I was worthy enough to be given divine revelation. Obviously, I was preaching out of my vain imagination, because I came to the wrong conclusions. Nothing happened! I was wrong! I'm sorry!

Then, read the scriptures on the Abomination of Desolation

[Isa 19:19] In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof
to the LORD.

This Great Pyramid, in Egypt, is called in Isa 19:19, an ALTAR to the Lord.

Daniel, speaks not of THE abomination, but of more than one.

[Dan 9:27.34] And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the
sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the
consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

And, this abomination is spoken of, in Matthew, as an "emergency" type event.

To flee to the mountains in an instant, not taking anything with you,

[Mark 13:18] And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
[Mark 13:19] For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto
this time, neither shall be.

Well, on December 31, 1999, the occultists of the world plan to put a capstone on the Great Pyramid in Egypt.  And at that moment, Y2K will strike around the world, causing affliction for everyone.

This capstone announcement is a fulfillment of Bible Prophesy, and is a last chance warning to anyone who has not taken Y2K seriously.

For those people south of the equator, it will NOT be wintertime.

This capstone fits all the Biblical descriptions of the abomination.  But there will be at least one, or two more, depending on how you interpret scripture.

First, there is the mark of the beast, and the cashless system of numeration and identification, as implemented by a biochip implant, which is a violation of the temple of God, YOUR BODY!

Second, there will probably be a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem, where, in the middle of the 7 year Great Tribulation, the AntiChrist will declare himself to be God, and sit in the temple, with all lying wonders and signs, which is Satan's plan all along.
